This is an ever changing, up to the minute, anonymous poll for residents of Massachusetts. Beginning today, every 30 days we will publish our poll results with media outlets and send them to the Governor and the House and Senate Leadership. We will also send these results to President Obama.
Feel free to share your thoughts with us about the current crisis.
Please pass this blog address along to everyone you know. We are NOT collecting any cookies or personal information in this poll.

Thanks for doing this
ReplyDeletebunch of hacks, get rid of them all and go over the records of all the old polls who left in disgreace and still recieve pensions,i hear v.piro gets a nice chunk of $$$$$$$$$,and a few others
ReplyDeleteHA the Piro hack nation comes up,i bet if you checked the stae payrolls you would find a boatload of them on the payroll and pension lists. Why does an elected official who took a bribe(suppossedly) get to take home a yearly pension.
ReplyDeleteThey get to do it because they live in MA. Any place else they would be getting 3 meals a day, but no pension. They would be in a prison cell, which is where they belong!
ReplyDeleteyou sell out the state taxpayers and you should automatically lose all pension benefits. that's real reform and the only way to keep them honest!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Sports section of the Boston Globe is the largest part of the paper. It reflects the ignorance and stupity of Mass. voters. Most of them don't have a clue of how they're getting screwed by their pols.
ReplyDeletePosting the blog to my page! We cover local politics, music, marijuana reform, tax increases, occasional local sports. Check us out, for MikeCann vs. Deval, Scott Brown, and the like. Vote Mihos for Governor!
ReplyDeletego after state workers on so called TAX FREE disability for a start! Get rid of these hacks and cut salaries....Let them go work in the private sector and see what they are paid. Reform NOW!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think this blog is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI would take it one step further. Ask questions such as "Do you believe Grabauskas is doing an acceptable job managing the MBTA" to each member of the house & senate. And MAKE them answer it and publish the results. Only way to make these guys & gals answer to their constituents.
Keep up the good work! I'll be sure to pass along the site address to others.
Many problems would go away and the folks in the "Common Wealth" would be part of aDemocractic New Goverment if Mass was A two party Goverment. I do not see this happening.
ReplyDeleteI am disgusted with the abuses of this entrenched one-party self-serving mess. They all need to go. Term limits are a necessity.
ReplyDeleteTo save money: How about giving the state workers the same kind/same amt. that non-govt. employees get [since we're paying for them with our income taxes] ... they can't retire until 62 (for partial benefits) or 66 (for full benefits) rather than retiring at 55? And, averaging the top 35 years ... not the top 3 years!
ReplyDeleteThere is no question about the Governor. I am not sure why but the survey would be a little more inclusive if we are being asked to evaluate the worth of all the elected state governing bodies in the Commonwealth.
ReplyDeletethis blog is great. a big question is that if these truths are as self evident as they seem to us and most working people that I speak to, then why does the GOP in this staTe suck so much? If we agree that the one party sytem is at the root of our current troubles, shouldnt the Repubs or Independents be able to field decent alternatives? I think that if the electorate wakes up in this state then we will get real reform. The problem seems to be that the layabouts have finally joined the unions and the Machine hacks and they now outnumber us
ReplyDeleteD. Patrick has now coopted the term "Reform before Revenue" so that it now doesnt mean anything.
VOTE THE MACHINE OUT!!!!!!
So tired of all of this b.s. coming from the state house. I thought that their job and interest was to serve our needs not theirs. The excutive office is ripe with corruption, their lack of ethics is appalling, and it all Starts with Doug Rubin. The biggest liar of the entire gang of mis-fits.
